Enriched Mathematics
Improvements, augmentation and fortification of a student's mathematical education
John F. Kennedy High School offers an Enriched Mathematics pathway beginning at the Secondary 4 level. To be considered for the Scientific Mathematics Program, students must have obtained a minimum overall average of 75% in Secondary 3 Mathematics.
Successful completion of the Secondary 4 Scientific Mathematics course qualifies students to continue into the Secondary 5 Scientific Mathematics option, provided they maintain a 75% average and achieve at least 75% on the Ministry Exam. This pathway equips students with the academic foundation required for post-secondary programs in fields that demand strong mathematical proficiency.
Additionally, John F. Kennedy High School offers Pre-Calculus and Calculus following the completion of the Secondary 5 Scientific Mathematics program. These courses are accelerated, advanced-level enrichment options designed for students seeking further mathematical challenge and preparation for higher education.
